Liverpool Haematology support group
It is run by the Haematology Counsellor, Linda Boyne, from Clatterbridge Cancer Care. The Support Group is a relatively large Group and members support each other through the diagnosis and treatment journey, as well as enjoying social events together on a regular basis.
The team at The Daisy Chain offer support for those living with cancer after they have been discharged from hospital. With a 24-hour telephone contact line as well as complementary therapies and support groups, this charity organisation supports those living in Sefton and the surrounding areas.
Charity providing support to women living with breast cancer and their families. Services include reiki, reflexology and treatments to help and ease the side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Additionally, hair and nail treatments are offered, along with an opportunity to share experiences with women in similar situations. For more details, please contact the service.
Supporting family members after the loss of a child, Love Jasmine provides practical, emotional and respite support as well as promoting self-care to improve the emotional well-being of the whole family. Since the coronavirus outbreak, services like their parent coffee mornings have switched to video conferencing.
Zoё’s Place is a registered Charity providing palliative, respite and end-of-life care to babies and infants aged from birth to five years suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Zoё’s Place Baby Hospice in LIverpool provides support in a caring, safe, home-from-home environment.
